About:
Mr. Ndakhté Gaye is a professional journalist with over 20 years of experience in Senegalese daily newspapers. He worked for 10 years (2000–2010) at the Economics Desk of the daily Wal Fadjri. Before that, he was at the daily Le Populaire (1997–2000). In 2010, he left journalism to create Gaye Médias (GAME), a service company in the field of information and communication.

GAME’s main focus is publishing an online media platform specializing in economics and finance in Senegal and across Africa: originally www.ecofinance.sn

In 2013, Ecofinance.sn was selected from over 2,000 applications for the “Talent du Monde” competition organized by UEMOA in partnership with the Brittany Region in France. Alongside other African project leaders, Mr. Gaye participated in a three-month program in Dinard, Brittany (Western France), focusing on management capacity building and company immersion experiences.

Since June 9, 2020, the Equonet.net project has been listed among 29 digital solutions in the “Répertoire des solutions” for combating COVID-19 by the #Daancovid19 Citizen Coalition, co-chaired by the Ministry of Health and Social Action and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Telecommunications.
